With gratitude to the Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, the Diocese of St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands is happy to announce the ordination and installation of Bishop Herbert A. Bevard as the fifth Bishop of the Virgin Islands. The solemn liturgy took place at Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral, Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, VI at 11 AM on Wednesday, September 3, 2008.
